Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join a nationwide team delivering exceptional customer experiences in our service departments across the United States. You will bridge the gap between technicians and customers, explain repairs in plain language, and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

You will manage appointments, communicate progress, and ensure a smooth service experience while meeting sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience demonstrated in prior roles.
• Ability to meet and exceed targeted sales goals.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for customer appointments.
• Explain service recommendations in clear terms and upsell where appropriate.
• Greet customers and ensure a great service experience.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to complete work on time.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status and satisfaction.
