Victory Automotive Group in Michigan is seeking a Service Advisor to be the communications hub between customers and technicians, guiding service and repairs, and setting expectations for delivery and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, possibly post-secondary automotive training, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, an unrestricted driver’s license, and a strong record in customer service and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient computer and internet skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Able to bend, kneel, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service for customers in person or by phone.
• Follow up on status of repairs and inform customers when ready or delayed.
• Make repair recommendations and manage delivery of repairs.
• Ensure completed repairs pass quality control and/or a road test.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle operation, warranties, campaigns, and TSBs.
• Meet or exceed service level targets.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Attend required training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
