Job summary

Victory Automotive Group in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to serve as the main liaison between customers and technicians, scheduling service and communicating repair needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, dealership or large-facility experience, a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to deliver world-class service in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Professional and dependable; safety and customer service oriented.
• Excellent communication and reading comprehension.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service for customers in person or by phone to ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis.
• Follows up on status of repairs to ensure vehicle is ready when promised; informs customer if not ready and obtains authorization for revised estimates.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Ensures that all completed repairs have gone through quality control and/or a road test.
• Maintains current knowledge of vehicle operations, warranties, campaigns, and other service information.
• Ensures all service level targets are met or exceeded.
• Ensures documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Attends staff meetings, training, and educational classes; performs other duties as assigned.
