Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and our service team in Jacksonville, FL. You’ll engage customers, explain technician recommendations in plain language, and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

Daily duties include appointment coordination, meeting sales and CSAT targets, greeting customers, and producing transparent repair orders with time estimates. A high school diploma and a customer-first attitude are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience required.
• Ability to set and achieve goals.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Comfort with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers as they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-around.
• Explain service recommendations in simple terms.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Build loyalty through exceptional service.
