Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers with technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll greet customers, schedule appointments, explain technician recommendations in plain language, and identify upsell opportunities to help keep vehicles safe.

In this role you will work with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work, produce repair orders with estimates, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Sales experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and a vehicle walk-around.
• Use a consultative selling process to plan ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle and satisfaction.
• Gain superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.
