Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Sr z/OS Mainframe Network Software Systems Programmer to join our z/OS Mainframe Software Infrastructure team. In this role you will define strategies for the z/OS Network Software environment and support its implementation, acting as part of the last line of defense for major incidents and coordinating vendors.

You will manage multiple upgrades, monitor system metrics, and supervise partners to ensure stability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of z/OS Mainframe VTAM, SNA, APPN & HPR and TCP/IP experience.
• Led large-scale mainframe infrastructure projects across multiple z/OS LPARs.
• Experience with VTAM, SNA, APPN, HPR, and TCP/IP in a Parallel Sysplex environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine mainframe z/OS software upgrade requirements to stay current with IBM/vendor support.
• Coordinate and schedule major software upgrades across Mainframe Technical support teams.
• Define resource requirements with managers to support upgrades.
• Develop and maintain standards for Software Infrastructure and Program Products.
• Monitor CPU, Memory and DASD trends to maintain service levels.
• Prepare implementation plans, manage multiple projects and report status.
