Job summary

Ensono, LP is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – ISV for remote work in the United States. You will install, upgrade, test, and implement ISV software on z/OS, with on-call duties and strong problem-solving responsibilities.

The role requires deep knowledge of z/OS components, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and USS, plus the ability to work as part of a team and to manage complex ISV installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of mainframe experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and USS.
• Ability to perform moderately complex ISV installations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-going support for installation, upgrade, testing, configuration, and implementation of ISV software on z/OS.
• Monitor and on-call support for software; assist team members with technical questions and problem resolution.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem resolution; configure and customize parameters.
• Communicate with vendors and participate in technical projects.
• Work in a remote environment with possible on-site client engagements when required.
