Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM software. The role involves serving mainframe clients on a 24/7 basis across multiple time zones, installing, configuring, and upgrading CICS TS components per Ensono standards.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years on zSeries with hands-on CICS TS experience, strong analysis, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years on the zSeries (mainframe) platform with hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
Strong knowledge of CICS TS and related OEM products.
Experience with IBM SMP/E.
Ability to work across time zones and provide 24/7 support.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
Provide primary support for CICS TS issues.
Provide 24x7x365 support in multiple time zones.
Install and tailor CICS TS and related OEM products per best practices and Ensono standards.
Coordinate with other towers for annual operating system upgrade preparation.
Support customer migrations and transitions for CICS TS products.
Assist project managers with migrations and timelines.
Participate in disaster recovery plan execution with DR services.
Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
Upgrade, maintain, and enhance z/OS products as needed.
