Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS for the United States. Provide premium support to mainframe clients focusing on CICS TS and OEM products, including 24x7 operations and migrations.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years zSeries experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. On-call and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of zSeries mainframe experience including hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS capabilities and installation/tuning.
• Thorough working knowledge of IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer service orders related to CICS TS and OEM software.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues.
• Support 24x7 operations across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM products following Ensono best practices.
• Prepare partitions for annual OS upgrades using standard checklists.
• Support customer migrations for CICS TS and OEM products.
• Assist migrations of newly acquired customers to meet timelines.
• Contribute to disaster recovery plan execution with DR services.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures.
• Implement fixes and upgrades to z/OS products.
