Job summary

Ensono seeks a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to support and implement ISV software on z/OS. You will handle installation, upgrades, testing, configuration, and on-call support, ensuring smooth operation of mainframe environments.

You will leverage deep z/OS knowledge, including SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and USS, to resolve incidents and support technical projects across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years mainframe experience in a large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance including SMP/E.
• Proficient in TSO/ISPF, SDSF and JCL.
• Experience with Unix System Services (USS) and USS file system management.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support and incident/problem resolution for ISV offerings.
• Install, upgrade, test, configure, and implement ISV software on z/OS.
• Configure parameters and coordinate with vendors on software changes.
• Participate in technical projects and contribute to problem resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers under pressure.
