Job summary

Ensono seeks a skilled Mainframe Systems Programmer to support ISV software on the z/OS platform. You will install, upgrade, test, configure and implement ISV products, with on-call responsibilities and strong focus on z/OS utilities and security.

You will work with TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and USS, performing analysis, problem resolution and vendor communications in a client-facing, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a mainframe environment within a large enterprise or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, SDSF and JCL.

Responsibilities

• Handle incident, change and problem resolution for z/OS and related software.
• Participate in on-call schedule and provide on-call support.
• Configure and customize z/OS components and ISV software.
• Set up parameters and communicate with vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on technical projects.
