SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced underwriter to lead evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business. The role involves developing risk assessment models, pricing, and terms while collaborating with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients.

Remote work is supported across multiple states. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance is required, with 13 years of underwriting experience preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 13 years of underwriting experience or related field; professional designations preferred (AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, ARM).
• Extensive knowledge of company policies, industry laws, and risk and underwriting practices; strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

• Lead evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Develop advanced risk assessment models to inform coverage, pricing, and terms.
