Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.

This role serves as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, ensuring Workday solutions align with business requirements, operational needs, and compliance across a complex payroll environment. This individual partners closely with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT, and other stakeholders to analyze

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience in HRIS with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration.
• Five (5) years or more experience supporting large, multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations.
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation and IT to analyze needs and translate into configurations.
• Lead Workday testing activities for releases, updates, and regulatory changes.
• Support payroll-related configuration and reporting across Workday modules.
• Evaluate functionality and drive enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
