Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and support Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.

This role serves as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, coordinating with HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking, IT, and Payroll leadership to translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations. The ideal candidate will have deep Workday Payroll expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead testing of releases, configure reports,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• Five (5) years or more experience in HRIS with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration supporting complex payroll environments.
• Five (5) years or more experience supporting large, multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for U.S. and Canada payroll operations, including design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Lead Workday testing activities for system enhancements, releases, payroll updates, regulatory changes, integrations, and new functionality.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules including Benefits, Absence, reporting, and analytics; modify reports as needed.
• Evaluate Workday functionality and best practices to recommend enhancements and process improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
