Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to own the Workday Payroll configuration for U.S. and Canada. You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions and ensure compliance across a complex payroll environment.

You will lead testing for semi-annual Workday releases, support payroll-related configurations, and drive continuous improvement in operational effectiveness through best practices and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5+ years HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration
• 5+ years supporting multi-state and/or multi-country payroll operations
• Workday Payroll Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, IT, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into Workday configuration solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues, evaluate impacts, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead Workday testing activities for releases, updates, integrations, and new functionality; develop test scenarios and document results.
• Provide payroll-related configuration support across Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, Reporting, etc.).
• Evaluate functionality and industry best practices to recommend enhancements and automation.
