Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll for the U.S. and Canada.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate complex requirements into scalable Workday solutions and lead testing for semi-annual releases and regulatory changes. You will support payroll-related configurations across Workday modules, drive process improvements, and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of HRIS experience with Workday Payroll configuration.
• Experience supporting multi-state and multi-country payroll operations; Workday Payroll Certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, optimize, and support Workday Payroll for US and Canada.
• Act as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll and ensure compliance.
• Analyze requirements, translate into Workday solutions, and drive improvements.
• Lead testing for releases, updates, and new functionality; validate in test tenants.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, Reporting).
• Evaluate best practices and automate improvements to increase efficiency.
