Senior Workday HR Systems Analyst - Data & Reporting

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Workday HR systems expert to lead configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Payroll. You will collaborate with business partners to optimize core HR processes and reporting.

The role requires seven years of HR systems experience; Workday certification is a plus. Strong data analysis, ad hoc reporting, and Excel skills are essential to success in a fast-paced, virtual-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience specializing in HR system management.
• Experience working within the Workday platform is required.
• Workday certification a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with creating diverse, often complicated, ad hoc reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and communicate findings.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and logic functions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skill set.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for system operation and provide functional support for Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Security, Talent, Recruiting, Time Tracking, and Payroll
• Configure and test system business processes for complex projects, enhancements, and upgrades
• Lead configuration and maintenance of annual Workday processes, including Benefits Open Enrollment, Compensation and Bonus programs, and Annual Performance Reviews
• Manage vendor system integrations, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Configure and test viEval and viRecruit systems for enhancements and upgrades
• Provide guidance to interface managers on building internal content
• Maintain system documentation, processes, and procedures
• Analyze service trends, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for Workday, viEval, and viRecruit
• Create, edit, configure, and schedule reports for functional areas and system users
• Participate in special projects and other assigned duties
• Partner with functional and business stakeholders across departments to implement solutions and optimize business processes
