Job summary

Remote is seeking a Senior Workday Implementation Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll integrations tightly integrated with Workday as the core HCM system. You will drive data mapping, validation, and multi-country payroll setups across global customers, working asynchronously across time zones.

You will report to the Manager, Global Payroll Implementations and collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure compliant, timely go-lives.

Qualifications

Experience implementing Workday HCM in a global payroll context.
Strong knowledge of Workday modules and HRIS.
End-to-end payroll implementation delivery experience.
Ability to map and validate data between Workday and external payroll systems.
Solid understanding of global payroll operations and multi-country compliance.
Customer onboarding and project management experience.
Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis.
Fluent English; able to work asynchronously across time zones.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Workday payroll integrations for large, complex customers.
Serve as primary technical and functional contact for Remote’s Global Payroll with Workday.
Analyze customers' Workday environments to map configurations to Remote systems.
Manage data extraction, transformation, and validation between Workday and Remote.
Coordinate with HRIS/Payroll/IT teams for accurate data flows and compliance.
Configure payroll setups per customer, ensuring local regulatory adherence.
Coordinate parallel payroll runs, reconciliations and YE adjustments.
Ensure payroll go-live readiness and post-go-live transitions.
Provide training and guidance on Workday integration processes.
Maintain customer relationships and seek automation opportunities.
