Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Global Payroll Manager to lead the evolution of a multi-country payroll function, focusing on Workday Payroll mastery and operational leadership. You will manage a global team and partner with Talent, Finance, and vendors to strengthen governance and scalable processes.

The ideal candidate will deliver accurate payroll across the U.S., UK, Canada, and beyond, leveraging modern HRIS platforms and automation to improve compliance and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Progressive payroll experience with multi-country or multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Strong knowledge of global payroll tax and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate, timely payroll delivery across the U.S., UK, and Canada, via internal teams and providers.
• Oversee payroll reviews, approvals, and issue resolution to ensure compliance and SLAs.
• Lead automation and Workday optimization to improve governance and controls.
• Partner with Finance and Talent teams on reporting and audits.
• Support acquisitions and international growth with smooth payroll integration.
• Provide expert payroll guidance to employees and leaders.
