Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Workday Payroll/HCM Manager to lead global payroll configuration and scalable integrations across Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits. You’ll partner with the People team to ensure accurate, compliant pay and drive releases across regions, starting with the US and expanding globally.

The role requires 6-8+ years in Workday Payroll, strong Core HCM, and a detail‑oriented, compliance‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience.
• Strong Core HCM knowledge including organizations and staffing.
• Deep understanding of earnings, deductions, tax setup, and pay calculation.
• Experience partnering with People/HR teams to translate needs into configuration.
• Ability to manage changes via testing, validation, and releases.
• Detail-oriented with a compliance-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own Payroll Configuration: lead configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Workday Payroll.
• Build Scalable Integration: design payroll config that integrates with Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits.
• Own Stakeholder Relationship: liaison between Payroll and People teams, translate business needs.
• Anchor in Core HCM: ensure payroll decisions align with broader HCM foundation.
• Drive Testing & Releases: lead payroll-impact analysis, regression testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: act as escalation point for payroll config issues.
• Document & Govern: maintain configuration docs and governance for auditable setup.
