Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Lead to own strategy, design, and delivery of Workday Compensation solutions across the enterprise.

You will partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, and Technology stakeholders to implement scalable, best-practice compensation processes and related Total Rewards tech. You will guide complex initiatives, support governance, and lead testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization while mentoring team members and advising

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, IS, business, finance, CS or related field.
• 7+ years of HR technology or HRIS experience, including leadership of complex configuration projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration with Advanced Compensation expertise.
• Experience configuring compensation processes: annual planning, merit, bonuses, salary structures, and one-time payments.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, design, and translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience leading testing activities (unit, SIT, UAT, release validation, deployment).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of Workday Compensation solutions.
• Partner with Compensation, HR, Finance, Payroll, Technology to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Translate complex compensation needs into sustainable system capabilities.
• Drive automation and process optimization; advise governance and release management.
• Mentor configuration professionals and influence technology strategy within a large organization.
