Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to own and optimize the Adaptive environment for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

You will partner with Finance, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable models, dashboards, and integrated solutions that support financial and workforce decision-making across the university.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an admin/developer/model builder/analyst role with 3+ years in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience developing complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect.
• Strong experience with Adaptive Planning dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, calculations, business rules, and model structures.
• Experience creating in/out bound integrations between Workday Financial Management, Workday HCM, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator with day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Own and maintain Adaptive Planning structures including models, dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, business rules, attributes, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
• Manage Adaptive Planning user access, roles, permissions, and security while monitoring data governance and performance.
• Maintain system documentation and training materials; conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Design Adaptive Planning models and solutions applying FP&A best practices for flexible yet controlled systems.
• Partner with Finance to define reporting requirements and translate into Adaptive reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with HR to develop workforce planning models and reporting within Adaptive Planning.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile and troubleshoot integrations and data flows between Workday components.
• Work with IT and technical teams on integrations, data architecture, APIs and issues.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to evaluate solutions balancing requirements and capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
