Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst – Workday Adaptive Planning to own and optimize our Adaptive Planning environment. You will design models, create dashboards, and deliver scalable budgeting and forecasting solutions in a hands-on role.

You'll collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into resilient planning solutions, drive data governance, and ensure system integrity across Workday modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on experience in an administrator, developer, model builder, reporting, or systems analyst capacity, including 3+ years with Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience developing complex Adaptive Planning reports, dashboards, and management reporting solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect, including development and maintenance of management reporting packages.
• Strong experience with Adaptive Planning dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, calculations, business rules, and model structures.
• Experience creating in/out bound integrations between Workday Financial Management, Workday HCM, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis).

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and SME.
• Own and maintain Adaptive Planning structures, including models, dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations including model structures, dimensions, assumptions, formulas, calculations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Manage Adaptive Planning user access, roles, permissions, and security with data governance and internal controls.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and training materials.
• Design and build Adaptive Planning models and planning solutions with strong FP&A understanding.
• Define complex reporting requirements and translate into Adaptive reporting solutions for budgets, forecasts, actuals, variances and workforce metrics.
• Partner with HR to develop workforce planning models and reporting within Adaptive Planning.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile and troubleshoot integrations between Workday modules.
• Collaborate with IT and technical teams on integrations and data architecture.
