Job summary

Southern New Hampshire University is expanding its Financial Analytics and Insights team. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will own the Workday Adaptive Planning environment, building models, dashboards, and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.

The role partners with Finance, HRIS, IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations, ensuring data integrity and efficient decision support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in admin/developer/model builder/analyst roles, with 3+ years in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Experience creating in/out bound integrations between Workday Financial Management, Workday HCM, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and SME for the platform.
• Own and maintain Adaptive Planning structures, including models, dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, formulas, and security.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Adaptive configurations and reporting solutions.
• Manage Adaptive Planning user access, roles, permissions, and security while monitoring data integrity and system performance.
• Maintain system documentation and training materials; conduct training for users and stakeholders.
• Design and build Adaptive Planning models and solutions applying strong FP&A knowledge to budgets, forecasts, actuals, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to define complex reporting requirements and translate them into Adaptive reports.
• Develop, monitor, reconcile and troubleshoot integrations between Workday modules and Adaptive Planning.
• Collaborate with IT, HRIS and FINSYS on integrations, data architecture, and API issues.
• Facilitate discussions to balance business needs with system capabilities and maintainability.
