Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience.
• Strong knowledge of jacket engineering and construction.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Understanding of cost engineering and collaboration with manufacturers.
• Forward-thinking with technology and AI in design processes.
• Portfolio demonstrating substantial Women’s Outerwear experience with technical construction.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select materials, insulation and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance.
• Monitor market trends and translate findings into new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production and overseas manufacturing partners on costs.
• Incorporate AI into design workflows and evaluate new AI tools.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories.
