Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Senior Women’s Technical Outerwear Designer with 7+ years in performance and outdoor outerwear. You will translate concepts into technically sound jackets and lead development from concept to production.

Role emphasizes jacket engineering, fit and cost engineering, applying AI-powered tools to speed design while collaborating with overseas factories and Merchandising teams. A strong portfolio demonstrating technical construction and materials is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience, with exposure to technical, outdoor and performance products.
• Strong understanding of jacket engineering and construction; design based on function as well as appearance.
• Portfolio required showing technical construction, fit, fabrication and completed products.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select materials, insulation systems and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance with a feminine, commercial aesthetic.
• Monitor market trends, consumer and competitive research to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production teams and overseas factories to evaluate costing and identify cost optimizations.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into day-to-day design and development processes.
• Research and evaluate new AI design technologies to improve the workflow.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories throughout the lifecycle.
