Qualifications

• Strong understanding of jacket engineering, construction and fit.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Experience translating concepts into technically sound, commercially viable products.
• Portfolio demonstrates technical construction, fit and completed products.
• Proficiency with AI tools for design, research, visualization and development.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select materials, insulation systems and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance with style.
• Monitor marketplace through trend and competitive research and translate findings into opportunities.
• Collaborate with production and overseas manufacturing partners on costing and optimization.
• Ensure quality, functionality and design intent while pursuing cost efficiencies.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into design and development processes.
• Research new AI design technologies to improve outerwear design and development.
