Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women's Outerwear design experience
• Deep understanding of jacket engineering and construction
• Knowledge of women's fit, silhouette, insulation and components
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design
• Cost engineering with manufacturing partners to hit target costs
• Strong market awareness via trend and consumer research
• Incorporate AI into the design and product-development process
• AI proficiency with hands-on tools for design and research
• Portfolio demonstrating Women's Outerwear experience

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of assigned Women's technical and performance outerwear categories
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details
• Select and apply appropriate outerwear materials, insulation systems and trims
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit, performance and feminine design
• Monitor the marketplace and translate findings into new silhouettes and features
• Collaborate with Production and overseas partners to evaluate costing and optimize costs
• Find cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and performance
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into design and development processes
• Research and evaluate new AI design technologies
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories
