Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. seeks a Senior Women’s Technical Outerwear Designer with 7+ years of experience in performance and outdoor apparel to lead development from concept to production.

You will own technical packs, create construction details and select materials to meet performance, cost and aesthetic goals. The role requires collaboration with Production and overseas partners, strong jacket engineering knowledge, and the ability to integrate AI-driven insights into the design process while

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience, incl. technical, outdoor and performance products.
• Deep understanding of jacket engineering and construction.
• Strong knowledge of fit, silhouette, fabrication, insulation and functional components.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• AI proficiency is required; hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating substantial Women’s Outerwear experience with technical construction.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select materials, insulation systems and functional trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing fit and technical performance with a feminine, commercial look.
• Research marketplace trends and translate findings into new silhouettes and features.
• Collaborate with production teams and overseas manufacturing partners on costing and optimization.
• Maintain design quality, functionality and intent while pursuing cost efficiencies.
• Incorporate AI into daily design workflows for concept creation, analysis and visualization.
• Explore new AI design technologies to enhance the development process.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and factories throughout lifecycle.
