Portfolio demonstrating women’s outerwear construction, fit, fabrication and cost engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience.
• Experience in technical, outdoor and performance products.
• Strong jacket engineering and construction knowledge.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Cost engineering experience with manufacturing partners to hit target costs.
• Hands-on AI experience for design, research, visualization and development.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs and garment construction details.
• Select and apply appropriate outerwear materials, insulation systems and trims.
• Develop silhouettes balancing women’s fit with technical performance.
• Monitor marketplace through trend, consumer and competitive research.
• Work with Production teams and overseas factories to evaluate costing and identify cost savings.
• Incorporate AI-powered technology into design and development processes.
• Research new AI design technologies and tools to improve workflows.
• Maintain communication with Merchandising, Production and overseas factories throughout the lifecycle.
