You will drive creative direction, produce precise tech packs, and collaborate with production teams and overseas partners to optimize cost and quality.

Demonstrate a portfolio of advanced jacket constructions, fit strategies, and AI-enabled design workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Women’s Outerwear design experience, with significant exposure to technical, outdoor and performance products.
• Strong understanding of jacket engineering and construction, designed for function and aesthetics.
• Deep knowledge of women’s fit, proportion, silhouette, fabrication, insulation and functional components.
• Ability to merge technical functionality with feminine design and commercial appeal.
• Solid cost engineering capability and collaboration with manufacturing partners to hit target costs without sacrificing quality.
• Strong commercial and market awareness, with ability to identify opportunities through trend and competitive research.
• Forward-thinking approach to technology, including AI; hands-on experience using AI-powered tools for design and development.
• Portfolio required showing substantial Women’s Outerwear experience and examples of technical construction and finished products.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative direction and development of Women’s technical and performance outerwear categories.
• Produce technical drawings, detailed tech packs, and garment construction details to communicate design intent.
• Select materials, insulation systems, and trims based on product needs.
• Develop silhouettes balancing women’s fit with technical performance while staying feminine and commercially appealing.
• Monitor marketplace through trend and competitive research and translate findings into new silhouettes and features.
• Collaborate with Production teams and overseas partners to evaluate costing and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Find cost efficiencies while maintaining product quality, functionality and design intent.
• Integrate AI-powered technology into design and development processes for concept creation and analysis.
• Evaluate new AI design technologies to improve outerwear development workflows.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Merchandising, Production and factories throughout the lifecycle.
