Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF hardware and chip-down design to own the architecture, integration, development and validation of multi-transceiver systems for connected hardware. Your work will power mission-critical connectivity in our devices, including body-worn cameras, in all conditions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded wireless hardware and/or RF electronics design
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
• Chip-down RF design with board-level integration
• Experience with LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, or similar
• RF coexistence, interference, EMI/EMC knowledge
• Hardware bring-up and debugging with test equipment
• Schematic capture and PCB layout experience
• Experience with antenna integration and cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Own RF hardware architecture and design decisions for multi-transceiver systems.
• Lead schematic and PCB implementation for RF transceivers and front-end components.
• Ensure RF coexistence, isolation, desense and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Drive bring-up, debugging, and validation using RF test equipment.
• Collaborate with antenna, mechanical, firmware, and systems teams.
• Support certification, manufacturing ramp and mass production.
