Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in radio hardware and chip-down design to own architecture, integration, development, and validation of multi-radio systems for mission-critical hardware.

You will lead bring-up, RF validation, and certification across LMR, LTE, and broadband wireless, collaborating with RF, Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of radio hardware and/or RF electronics design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own board-level implementation and integration of radio chipsets across LMR, LTE/cellular, and broadband wireless.
• Translate system requirements into radio hardware architectures and select chipsets, transceivers, and components.
• Develop schematics and PCBs for RF transceivers, modems, and power circuitry.
• Design and validate multi-radio systems addressing coexistence and EMI/EMC.
• Lead radio hardware bring-up, debugging with RF test equipment, and failure analysis.
• Drive radio hardware through verification, certification, and mass production.
• Provide technical leadership and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
