Job summary

Axon seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF hardware and chip-down design to own architecture, integration, development, and validation for multi-transceiver systems powering body-worn devices and related hardware. You will collaborate across Antenna, Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust wireless performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded wireless hardware and RF design with a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related.
• Chip-down RF design and board-level integration experience.
• Experience with LTE/5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, or similar wireless systems.
• Strong understanding of RF coexistence, interference, EMI/EMC in compact multi-transceiver products.

Responsibilities

• Own board-level RF chipsets integration across mission-critical communications and cellular technologies.
• Translate requirements into wireless hardware architectures and evaluate chipsets and interfaces.
• Develop and review schematics and PCB implementations for RF transceivers and related circuitry.
• Lead wireless hardware bring-up, debugging, and RF test workflows including spectrum analysis and network analyzers.
• Drive certification, production readiness, and mass production readiness for hardware.
