Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF hardware to own architecture, integration, and validation of multi-transceiver systems in battery-powered devices. You will impact mission-critical connectivity for Axon devices, including body-worn cameras, in dynamic field conditions.

You will lead RF decisions from chipset selection to mass production, collaborating with Antenna, Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams across a hybrid on-site model in major hubs

Qualifications

• 7+ years in embedded wireless hardware or RF electronics design.
• Experience with chip-down RF design and board integration of transceivers.
• Proficient in RF coexistence, isolation, EMI/EMC in compact devices.
• Ability to lead bring-up, testing, and regulatory certification processes.
• Collaborates with antenna, mechanical, firmware and systems teams.

Responsibilities

• Own RF hardware architecture and board-level integration for wireless systems.
• Define wireless hardware architectures from system requirements and tradeoffs.
• Create and review schematics and PCB layouts for RF transceivers and modems.
• Lead bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of RF designs.
• Drive certification, production ramp, and mass manufacturing readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and work with vendors and internal teams.
