Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF hardware to own the architecture, integration, development, and validation of multi-transceiver systems for connected devices. You will influence board-level RF design from chipset selection to mass production.

As a founding member of the hardware team, you will tackle RF coexistence, antenna integration, and regulatory certification while collaborating with antenna, mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded wireless hardware and/or RF electronics design experience with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant chip-down RF design and board-level integration experience.
• Experience with two or more wireless technologies (LTE/5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, etc.).
• Hands-on hardware bring-up and debugging with RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own RF chip-down design and board-level integration across wireless technologies.
• Translate requirements into wireless hardware architectures and evaluate chipsets and front-end components.
• Develop schematics and PCB implementations for RF transceivers, modems, and power circuitry.
• Design and validate multi-transceiver systems addressing coexistence, interference, and EMI/EMC.
• Lead bring-up and debugging with test equipment and drive certification through production.
• Collaborate with antenna, mechanical, firmware, and systems teams to optimize performance.
