Job summary

Stantec in North Carolina seeks a talented Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on water projects. You will drive project scope, schedule, and client relationships while delivering transformational solutions that support communities.

You will mentor staff, develop proposals, and collaborate with multiple lines to win work. Travel to project sites may be required as part of your role in a purpose-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NC is required; PMP is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership with experience defining direction for teams and offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams.
• Perform business development tasks and collaborate to increase project wins; develop proposals.
• Client-facing business development, meetings, walk-downs, and presentations.
• Scope of work documents and estimates; collaborate with multiple lines to develop opportunities.
• Assist senior engineers/designers with project scope, budget, staffing, schedule.
• Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies.
• Present to clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Conduct quality reviews and manage design/construction.
