Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer for the Carolinas to pursue and manage municipal and industrial projects including water, wastewater, and stormwater. The role involves planning and design of civil infrastructure, mentoring staff, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.

You will interact with clients, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer status is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater or related civil engineering fields.

Responsibilities

• Manage water-related projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and supervise staff, developing high-performing project teams.
• Lead project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Prepare project deliverables, schedules, and budgets and ensure timely results.
• Support marketing efforts including proposals and interviews.
