Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Pipeline Conveyance Lead to support municipal water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects across Central Texas. The role covers planning, design, and execution of large-diameter mains, pump stations, and related infrastructure, with technical leadership and client advisory duties.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in planning, design, and delivery of water/wastewater conveyance projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary engineering teams; proven ability to develop client relationships with municipalities and public agencies.
• Experience leading design of large-diameter water transmission mains, wastewater collection systems, force mains, and related utility infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, pipeline materials, trenchless tech, coordination, and constructability.
• Hybrid office/field role; may require exposure to field conditions and occasional outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and reclaimed water conveyance projects.
• Serve as technical lead and engineer of record for pipeline projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, and construction services.
• Develop pipeline alignments, hydraulic models, design reports, construction plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Oversee design of transmission mains, gravity sewers, force mains, and related appurtenances.
• Coordinate with municipal agencies, utilities, and permitting authorities throughout project life cycle.
• Provide project management oversight including scope, budget, schedule, resource planning, and risk management.
• Mentor and develop engineers, EITs, and staff through leadership and professional development.
