Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Pipeline Conveyance Lead to support municipal water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects in Central Texas. This leadership role manages planning, design, and execution of conveyance projects, including large-diameter mains, sewer networks, force mains, and pump stations, while mentoring staff and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading design of large-diameter water transmission mains and wastewater systems.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, pipeline materials, trenchless tech, and constructability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and reclaimed water conveyance projects.
• Serve as technical lead and engineer of record for pipeline projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams across civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, and construction services.
• Develop pipeline alignments, hydraulic models, design reports, and construction documents.
• Oversee design of transmission mains, gravity sewers, force mains, and related appurtenances.
• Coordinate with municipal agencies, utilities, and permitting authorities.
• Provide project management oversight including scope, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Mentor and develop engineers and EITs through leadership and guidance.
• Support client relationship management and serve as primary contact for municipal clients.
• Assist with business development, proposals, interviews, and strategic planning.
• Participate in master planning studies, condition assessments, and capital improvement planning.
• Work with construction phase teams to address questions, review submittals, and support delivery.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and new technologies.
