Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct warehouse associates, ensuring safety and quality across departments. The role involves scheduling, workflow optimization, and coaching staff to meet performance standards.

Qualifications include a four-year degree or equivalent experience and at least three years in warehousing, plus six months of supervisory experience. Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow to ensure maximum cost effectiveness within the department.
• Assign duties and examine work for quality, neatness, and conformity to policies and procedures.
• Schedule job assignments for inventories.
• Monitor, direct, and perform shipping of outbound orders when necessary.
• Issue written and oral instructions to associates as needed.
• Ensure associate accountability per SOPs.
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances.
• Manage employee time including edits and corrections.
• Mentor and coach associates, including corrective actions and performance evaluations.
• Monitor zoning and product database development during receiving.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and Standard Works.
