Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Colorado is hiring an Operations Supervisor to lead warehousing teams, schedule workloads, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will mentor staff, manage time and performance, and drive continuous improvements across receiving, storage, and shipping.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in warehousing or distribution, with at least 6 months of supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years in warehousing or distribution.
• At least six months of supervisory experience.
• PC skills including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost efficiency.
• Assign duties and inspect quality, neatness, and policy compliance.
• Schedule inventories and coordinate periodic checks.
• Direct and, if needed, perform outbound shipping accurately.
• Issue written and oral instructions; ensure accountability per SOPs.
• Maintain harmony among staff and resolve grievances.
• Manage employee time and conduct performance evaluations.
• Mentor and coach associates, including corrective actions.
• Monitor receiving zoning and product database development.
• Train teams on policies, procedures, and Standard Works.
• Support Safety Advocate and Safety Committee activities.
• Assist in process development and improvements.
