Job summary

DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in contract logistics, seeks an Operations Manager II to guide warehouse operations and optimize processes. You will drive labor planning, standardize workflows, and lead a diverse team to achieve efficiency, safety and cost improvements.

You will partner with HR and site leadership on hiring, collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders, and engage with customers to address concerns and ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardize processes and best practices.
• Uphold health and safety regulations to promote a culture of safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs such as productivity and accuracy to drive improvements.
• Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
• Assist in the hiring process for Supervisors with HR and site leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Partner with customers to address concerns and drive exceptional satisfaction.
