Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II to lead a diverse warehouse team and optimize operational efficiency. You will supervise, coach, and develop supervisors, while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes KPI reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and close partnership with HR for talent selection. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant logistics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year logistics industry experience, required.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardized processes, and best practices to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a culture of heightened safety.
• Compile reports on KPIs like productivity and accuracy to support decision-making.
• Foster open communication and cross-functional collaboration among leadership and associates.
• Partner with HR and site leadership for hiring Supervisors aligned with values and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely customer orders and satisfaction.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and drive exceptional customer satisfaction.
