Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in underwriting, market facing, broker, carrier, or risk management in commercial insurance.
• Experience in E&S Property.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Strong underwriting acumen in E&S Property space.
• Wholesale broker relationships and strong planning/execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing regional Property underwriting staff.
• Manage regional performance including new business production, policy retention, rate/tiering execution, and portfolio actions.
• Oversee broker relationships and underwriter referrals.
• Maintain a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes.
