Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for the E&S Property team in Atlanta with a hybrid work arrangement.

You will lead a regional Property underwriting group, coach talent, and oversee portfolio performance while strengthening broker relationships. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in underwriting or risk management in commercial insurance, deep E&S Property knowledge, and proven leadership abilities to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years in underwriting or risk management in commercial insurance.
• Experience in E&S Property underwriting and people management.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and manage a high-performing regional Property underwriting team.
• Drive regional performance: new business, policy count retention, rate/tiering, and portfolio actions.
• Manage regional wholesale broker relationships and underwriter referrals.
• Travel as needed (approximately 25%) to support team and broker relationships.
• Foster a diversified, dynamic team culture and oversee talent development.
