Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for the E&S Property team in Atlanta with hybrid work options.

You will develop and coach a regional underwriting staff, drive performance on new business, retention, and portfolio actions, and manage wholesale broker relationships and referrals. The role requires extensive underwriting expertise, leadership experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in Underwriting, Market Facing, Broker, Carrier or Risk Management in Commercial Insurance OR Bachelor’s Degree with 20+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support.
• Experience in E&S Property and at least 2 years of people management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing regional Property underwriting team.
• Oversee regional performance: new business, policy retention, rate/tiering, and portfolio actions.
• Maintain broker relationships, manage referrals, and lead production in line with plan.
• Travel as needed (about 25%) to support brokers and team leadership.
