Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years in underwriting or related area within commercial insurance.
• Experience in E&S Property and 2+ years of people management.
• Strong wholesale broker relationships and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and manage a high-performing regional Property underwriting team.
• Manage regional performance including new business production, policy count retention, rate/tiering execution and portfolio actions.
• Oversee broker relationships, underwriter referrals and cycle management; travel ~25%.
• Maintain a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes and desk challenges.
