Athene, a leading retirement solutions provider, is seeking an accomplished sales leader to own the territory for the South Carolina region. You will cultivate relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeepers, execute a territory plan, and drive adoption of Apollo Vitera offerings.

The role requires 10+ years in retirement plan sales, established advisor relationships, FINRA licenses, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong command of advisor-led and recordkeeper channels, with ability to translate home office work into field opportunities.
• Knowledge of the defined contribution market, ERISA fundamentals, and private assets or guaranteed income.
• Excellent one-on-one and group presentation skills; FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.

Responsabilités

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams, converting partnerships into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, activity cadence, pipeline milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; coordinate with product specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with Apollo's Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and win together.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data, market intelligence, and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
