Job summary

Athene seeks an experienced senior sales leader to own the territory sales target for Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings. You will build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams, converting partnerships into local adoption to drive growth.

The role requires 10+ years in retirement plan sales, strong presentation skills, FINRA Series 6/63 or 7, and a Bachelor's in business or finance. Travel across the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong knowledge of defined contribution markets and ERISA fundamentals.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams, converting partnerships into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, a consistent activity cadence, pipeline milestones, and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; coordinate with product specialists as needed.
• Partner with Apollo's Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and win together.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data and market insights to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
